Heritage Trail in Piedmont plans to create trails of sustainable tourism in order to cast light on cultural and religious aspects, wines and gastronomy of the Piedmont territory, the material and immaterial heritage and the local traditional products.
The trails will be conceived and created thanks to a shared planning process that will involve in an active way the public administration, several actors of the economical and social sector and the local communities. This project is developed in partnership with Paralleli - Istituto EuroMediterraneo del Nord Ovest.
It consists in writing an intercultural tour guide dedicated to the sustainable tourism in Piedmont and its links with the Mediterranean Area. The guide will give special attention to the criteria of "sustainable tourism" and interculturality. Fitzcarraldo is working with ECCOM and Ater foundation in ORMA, a temporary business association, in order to plan regional live entertainment and cinema monitoring centres: common, consistent guidelines will be drafted in order to set up centres to monitor production and consumption in the entertainment sector.
The project is promoted by the VI Commissione Beni e Attività Culturali della Conferenza delle Regioni e delle Province Autonome, in cooperation with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, as part of an entertainment pact for the three-year period from 2007 to 2009.
Fondazione Fitzcarraldo has won the call for applications launched by Fondazione CRC for its MP3 ("Mondovì - podcasting for personalised itineraries") project to examine, implement and test advanced technological instruments for promoting tourism and culture in the old city of Mondovì and its territory. Experimentation will last one year and will make it possible to assess the effectiveness of experience-based tourism using podcasting and storytelling methods.
The project is being run in collaboration with the Politecnico University of Turin, the Kalatà group of Mondovì, which is specialised in organising and promoting cultural products and events, and the Accademia dei Folli theatre company.

After using meetings, in-depth interviews and panels with leading observers to analyse the needs of various potential audiences, special layouts are proposed for the museum and for its services and side activities, as well as providing the general economic figures required to ensure long-term sustainability of the museum.

Walser Alps is a project that promotes and develops Walser culture and it includes a study to set up a travelling exhibition dedicated to the Walser community in Italy. The study has been commissioned by the Municipality of Rima San Giuseppe and by the Province of Vercelli within the Interreg III B "Walser Alps" project.

The results and the assessments of the study act as guidelines for organising the theme park and selecting the best marketing strategies.
