Training

The Fitzcarraldo Foundation designs and organises seminars and courses since 1989 on a wide range of subjects, including cultural management, project development, strategic planning, marketing and fundraising, cultural cooperation and networking, local development strategies...

Its training offer is addressed to professionals and public officials concerned with Museums, heritage and performing arts.

The training offer ranges from lifelong training to post graduate courses and initial training. It is addressed to the regional, national and international market and includes initiatives that the Fitzcarraldo carries out on its own or in partnership with universities in Italy and in Europe.

Our main activities

Since 1996 CRPC: Advanced Training Course for Cultural Project Managers, the leading Italian course in cultural management and is addressed to cultural operators and graduates from all over Italy. 40% of lectures is held by non Italian lecturers.

Since 2006 ArtLab. Dialogues around Cultural Management. The meeting point of the Italian cultural professionals: a place where artists, operators, trainers and the main stakeholders of the arts&culture discuss about policies, management of the organisations.

Since 2002 GIOCA - Graduate degree in Innovation and Organization of Culture and the Arts, a two-year second level international degree in arts and cultural management of the University of Bologna.

Since 2010 MASCULT. Master in Advanced Studies in Cultural Management.

A biannual post-graduate Master, designed for the Conservatory of the Italian Switzerland for students interested in the management of artistic and cultural projects at national and international level.

Fitzcarraldo designed and managed training initiatives with a variety of national and international institutions such as: the Piedmont Regional Authority, the Puglia Regional Authority, Polytechnic of Torino, University of Torino, Università Cattolica di Milano, University of Bologna, Carnegie Mellon University, Fondazione ATER Formazione, International Centre for Culture and Management di Salisburgo, Musée du Louvre, Fondation Marcel Hicter.

Fitzcarraldo helped to plan and to carry out training activities in Italy, Albania, Austria, Estonia, United Kingdom and Finland in collaboration with the Council of Europe and other public and private partners.

Fitzcarraldo is a member of the European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres (ENCATC).
